Get Involved

There are numerous ways in which you can get involved and support the work of Christian Concern for Mental Health (CCFMH)…

Supporting Us…

Through prayer: The most effective way in which you can support us is through prayer. And if you are willing to do so please consider including the following in your prayers…

  • That CCFMH may always stay true to God’s word and His will for us as a ministry, and that we may through our personal relationships with Christ and through the Holy Spirit have the strength and clarity of mind to follow His leading.
  • That CCFMH may be successful in promoting awareness and concern for mental health and those who suffer with mental illness and poor mental health.
  • That all folk, and especially Christians will, through the work of CCFMH and other sources be encouraged to renew their thinking on mental illness and poor mental health.
  • That through the work of CCFMH and it’s members all Christians will be encouraged and inspired to include mental illness and poor mental health, and those who suffer from them, in their every day prayer lives and ministries.
  • That God will lead other Christian writers and bloggers to incorporate Mental Health awareness and the need for good compassionate and positive concern for it within their blogs and writing.

Through other methods…

By displaying the ‘CCFMH Supporter’ logo on your website or blog as a sign of your support for the work of CCFMH and in order to promote public awareness of our work.

By becoming a guest writer though contacting us via the comment section below or by invitation from one of our team.

By blogging about our work on your website or blog.

By reblogging our posts on your website or blog where you feel that what is said is relative and  helpful.

By commenting on any posts made and letting us know what you think, how we can help, what your personal experiences are, or simply to encourage us.

Wich ever way you choose we do want to thank you for popping by to visit us and for any for any support you are able to offer.  Please always remember to pray for those in need.

    Hi 🙂
I added your logo and linked it to your ‘Comfort And Hope Passages’ page.

    Hi Kevin,
    thankyou too 🙂

  3. I will be praying daily for the outreach of this program. I have added your button to my personal blog, and I will be coming by regularly to read new posts. I would love to guest write sometime, but know that I don’t always have the writing ability that many others possess. Anyway, my blog is a journey both for me and for those who are reading it. I hope be to a light and to shed light on something that has been hidden and people have been scared of for way to long. Thanks for making this place to find help and strength. May God bless you and your work!!

    • Dear Learning,

Firstly an apology and then an explanation for the apology. I am truly sorry that this response to your comment has taken me so long. (Trust me you are not alone in deserving or receiving this.)

It is now December 31st and I got it into my head this morning that since it was the end of one year and the beginning of a new one, I should update the Mental Health Writers Guild membership logo on the blogs that I write. So in the process of doing just that I came to this blog and it was then that I noticed that there were some comments which needed responding to. I cannot even begin to explain how confused and surprised I am to see that some – like yours – were written months and months ago and yet I had no awareness of them even being there.

So please accept my sincere apologies for this. I have – due to the extreme delay between your having commented and my being made aware of them – no excuses to offer in my defence. Other than perhaps that due to my health most of the posts I have made on this site have been reblogs from other sites and thus I have not had cause to visit this site for quite some time.

Let’s just say that this site was started with good intentions and then everything seemed to nose dive after that. But I will be trying harder to improve things this year.

So, many thanks for getting in touch and please know that I am intending to increase my activity on this blog in future.

Kind regards and God bless you.
      Kevin

  4. I’m not entirely sure how to display the sign on my blog, but I have a lot of Christian and bipolar posts on my blog too. I’d love to write a guest article.

If you’d rather re-blog, the most popular right now is “How To Be A Good Friend To Someone With Bipolar Disorder”. Feel free to use others too, just let me know!

Kind regards and God bless you.
